He made special mention of Marilyn Band, who recently passed away. She was a
special volunteer and an important contributor to the independent living
effort at Fearrington. Peter also thanked the various other volunteers, some
who were retiring from active service as well as those still contributing to
the work of the association. Among those Peter cited were Dinah McAllister
and Mary Hammond for their work on the Newsletter, Clair Beth for her

2. Peter described the role of the Presidents Council as the umbrella group
which represents the various service areas as well as those non-service

expenses 4. Peter then opened
the meeting for comments and concerns by residents
A. Concern was raised about the noise created by the early morning bus trip
along Wethersfield. John Hammond responded that he will be discussing the
elimination of the 6 AM trip with the appropriate party.
B. Concern was raised by some individuals who had not yet received a refund
from Glossen. It was suggested that individuals send a self-addressed
stamped envelope to Leon and if no refund was received in a couple of weeks
to let FHA know so that they can follow up.
C. John Hammond noted that those who do not use a trash removal service are
charged $34.00 on their tax bill. If you use a service the service provider
( First Choice), should provide the Tax Collector with that information so
that your tax bill can be credited.
D. In response to another question it was noted that the Millcroft mail
kiosk is still controlled by RB.
5. Joe Salsbury then reported to the President that the quorum requirement
had been met and that all the candidates whose names appeared on the ballot
had been elected.
6. Ken Talbot then thanked Peter for his leadership during this year.
7. On a motion made and duly seconded the meeting was adjourned at 7:05 PM.
Respectfully submitted,
Leonard T. Kreisman, Secretary
