DRIVER/Telephone Answerer - Retreive recorded messages from the FC recording machine twice daily and respond to requests for services. Transport residents on errands and to medical appointments in the Chapel Hill, Durham and Sanford areas. Commitment: 3.5 days in one week during the year. Volunteer coordinator will schedule.
Emergency DRIVER(backup for regular driver)

HANDYPERSON – Help with minor household repairs such as changing out of reach light bulbs, minor plumbing, etc. Commitment: as needed.  Electrical Plumbing Carpentry
Office Receptionist - Greet visitors, answer office phone, provide clerical assistance , set appointments, manage health library, etc. Training provided. Commitment: by arrangement with Nurse Coordinator.

EVENTS – help with health related clinics, screenings, immunizations and special social and information sharing events. Commitment: as needed.

EMERGENCY-TYPE SERVICE -  Drive to/pick up from airport only in an emergency Use of 4-wheel vehicle during snowy/icy conditions
